The Green Button Developer Day will build on the momentum generated to date:

-The White House call-to-action to provide residential and business customers with easy-to-understand data about their energy use, in a standard data format (Green Button);
-Utility industry commitments to date include 35 utilities and energy providers committing to provide 36 million households and businesses access to their data;
-Software, energy management, and renewables companies that are implementing capabilities to use Green Button data to give new choices to customers.
White House and keynote participants include:
-Nick Sinai, U.S. Deputy Chief Technology Officer
-Karen Austin, Chief Information Officer, PG&E
-Chris King, Global Chief Regulatory Officer, Siemens Smart Grid
-Bill Weihl, Sustainability Guru, Facebook
