#Climate Change, April 8, 2011

Sustainability and QEHS management software provider Enablon North America has been accredited by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) for meeting CDP's standards for calculating and reporting carbon emissions information.

Chicago-based Enablon's Energy & Carbon Management Suite (Enablon ECM) is widely recognized as one of the leading energy and carbon management platforms in the market. The CDP is an independent
not-for-profit organization collecting key climate change data from some 3,000 companies worldwide and has assembled the largest database of corporate GHG emissions and climate change information in the world.

To achieve accreditation, Enablon participated in an extensive evaluation to demonstrate, amongst other things, compatibility with the GHG Protocol for calculating GHG emissions. The GHG Protocol is the most widely used international accounting standard for business leaders to understand, quantify, and manage GHG emissions.

Enablon ECM is a broad and modular software platform, which enables scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG reporting and compliance with global voluntary and mandatory programs. Enablon ECM includes the following applications: GHG Accounting and Reporting; Forecast & Scenario Analysis; Sustainability Projects Management; Cap & Trade Management; Air Quality Management and Utility Data Management.
